The Gunwerks 6IX Suppressor was designed with two main objectives. The first was it needed provide reliable and repeatable performance on precision rifles, with minimal point of impact shift and no loss of a rifle’s ability to shoot tight groupings. The second was compatibility on modern magnum hunting ammunition. The majority of the rifle suppressor market has been focused on military cartridges such as 5.56 NATO and 7.62mm – rounds that aren’t particularly well suited for hunting or long range applications. The 6IX was specifically designed for hunting cartridges in the 6.5mm to 30-caliber range, with an emphasis on sound reduction and performance. Other features of the 6IX include a 30 caliber bore-reducer, with additional caliber-specific bore reducers in 6mm, 6.5mm, and 7mm available (sold separately). In addition, the 6IX features a hardened 17-4 stainless steel construction, and comes with a 1/2×28 and 5/8×24 thread adapter.
